A renovation of a mid century house nestled on a hillside in the beautiful neighbourhood of San Matteo in the Bay Area of California. The design aims to re-energize the house by opening the spaces up, and introduce large sliding partitions to allow for multiple uses of the space throughout the day. The use of a simple classic palette of materials will help to unify the living spaces and bring back the flow of the original design intent, while confidently creating a new modern character for the home.
