450XS started as a small design project for two friends who recently moved in together into a small, cozy flat in Vancouver’s west end. The project was a response to the challenge of mitigating a small space with limited budget; and as such became an exercise in re-purposing ikea parts and pieces with some bespoke millwork in creative ways to create an inexpensive yet compelling modern interior.
